The withdrawal has already started

The question is what happens in a week after the army is fully withdrawn and Hamas starts firing a few rockets again? Will Israel re-invade? I seriously doubt it.

Meanwhile many of the soldiers are expressing feelings we missed our opportunity.

Weren't you the person condemning Israel for attacking Hamas? Now you're condemning Israel for withdrawing from Gaza? Get you story straight already. Either you support the Israeli government and want them to destroy Hamas, or you don't support the Israeli government an want Israel destroyed. You can't have it both ways. You can't condemn Israel for trying to destroy Hamas, then condemn Israel for not destroying Hamas.

Read these 2 articles by Moshe Feiglin and hopefully you will understand where I am coming from.

The Disengagement War

Gaza: A likely scenario

Ariel,

I live in Israel and certainly don't want Israel destroyed.

Unfortunately, the current and past governments have put Israel on the path to destruction. The left wing has failed completely but the right wing has not picked up the challenge and offered an alternative. I support Manhigut Yehudit and Feiglin's vision for Israel.
