Can you believe this? In the Jewish state which is supposedly a democracy Jews are not allowed to even pray silently at our holiest place.

Where is that bastion of justice the Supreme Court? When it comes to the security fence, the protection of Sderot, etc. they have no problem in overruling the security forces. However suddenly here, when it is an issue relating to Judaism, the justices are silent.

hafuch - the supreme court has ruled it is perfectly legal to pray on temple mount as freedom of religion. However they left the decision on the ground to the security forces due to the potential for violence regarding the issue.
It is amazing how we cowtow to this. We give total freedom of religion in every right to every religion, but we let our own be trampled..

It's a case of how to handle a spoiled child. The Arabs will throw a tantrum if they don't get their way, the Jews will shout indignantly but not much more. So the Arabs get their way
